The site was okay overall, but I found the navigation a little confusing. It took me longer than expected to find the tape options, so a more straightforward layout would make the experience smoother.

"Where’s the community vibe?"
I was really hoping to see more support for local hockey or at least some kind of community involvement from them. Maybe I just missed it, but isn’t that the kind of thing you’d expect? It felt absent to me, i wasn’t all that impressed

"Size guide was off for me"
I went by the size guide, but the fit still ended up being wrong. Compared to other brands I’ve ordered from, the sizing info just didn’t feel as reliable or clear. I had to go through the return process, which was annoying. I’d only use it if you’re sure it matches what you ordered before.

"Works fine , but feels a little pricey"
I’ve used Howies tape a few times now , and the tape itself is totally fine . I don’t really have any major complaints about how it performs . The main issue for me is the price . Once shipping gets added , it ends up being more than I expected , and I can grab similar tape from my local shop for less . It’s not a bad purchase , but I probably wouldn’t keep buying it unless there was a sale or some kind of bundle deal .

"Nice feel, a little thick"
It feels good overall, and the quality seems nice. I just thought it would be a bit thinner, so it’s slightly more than I wanted.

I’m happy with the colors. They look sharp on my stick, and then I noticed they actually match my gear better than I expected. Just a small thing, but it makes everything look a little cleaner

"Tracking could’ve been clearer!!"
My order said it had shipped, but the tracking didn’t update for days, so I kept checking and had no idea where it actually was. The tape was totally fine once it arrived!! I just wish the shipping updates and communication had been a little better.

"Still my go-to hockey tape"
I’ve been using Howies for a while now, i don’t get why people overthink it. Their tape has been solid for me, and the brand has a good reputation with hockey players for a reason. No, every single order hasn’t been absolutely perfect, but nothing has been bad enough to make me switch. I’d rather stick with a company I actually trust than gamble on some random tape site.

I stopped by for tape and it was sold out again, which is frustrating. I don’t mind shopping here, but if this keeps happening I’m probably going to start going somewhere else.

"Bulk ordering: because apparently tape can be complicated"
Ordered a bunch of tape for our team, thinking it would be a quick and easy thing. Naturally, it turned into a whole mini project. Shipping took longer than we expected, and one of the colors was short in the box. Support did get back to us, so that was something, but it wasn’t exactly lightning fast. The tape itself is totally fine, no complaints there. It’s just the whole team ordering process that made something as simple as tape feel weirdly difficult

"Expected More Variety"
As someone who plays hockey and is always picky about gear, I was hoping to find a solid range of tape colors and a few decent equipment options. the selection felt limited. A lot of the stuff I was looking for just wasn’t there, and for a hockey site, I expected way more variety. I probably wouldn’t bother browsing it again.

"Reordering is actually super easy"
I’ve ordered from Howies Hockey Tape a few times now, and reordering is actually really simple. My previous stuff is right there, so I don’t have to go searching around for everything again.
It takes maybe a minute and I’m done. it just makes it easy to keep my tape stocked without thinking too much about it

"Return was fine, just a little slow"
I had to return some tape I accidentally ordered, and overall it was okay. The return process itself wasn’t confusing, but it did take a few days before I heard back, and the refund came through later than I was expecting. Customer service did respond, which I appreciated, so it wasn’t a bad experience. Just wondering if anyone else had a similar wait time with returns, because it felt a bit slower than I’m used to.

"Came off way cleaner than I thought!!!"
This tape held up well and came off a lot cleaner than I expected!!! It barely left any sticky stuff on my stick, just a little bit near the end, and it was easy enough to clean up!!! I’d give it 5 stars if it came off totally clean every single time, but overall I’m happy with it!!!

"Exactly what I ordered, no complaints"
I don’t really get what there would be to complain about here. I got exactly what I ordered, all the rolls were there, and the colors were right. The packaging was sturdy too, so nothing showed up crushed or messed up. I checked everything quickly when it arrived and it all looked good to me. Overall, I’m happy with it and I’d order again
